Awards Gala: Honoring Excellence in Commercial Real Estate
BOMA/GLA’s Awards Gala is an annual celebration recognizing the best in the commercial real estate industry. This prestigious event honors outstanding achievements in building management, operations, and professional excellence through two distinguished awards programs:
- The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards – The most prestigious recognition for commercial office buildings, celebrating excellence in building operations and management.
- The Awards of Excellence Program – Recognizing BOMA/GLA members for their outstanding contributions to the association and the commercial real estate industry.

Golf Tournaments and Triple Play Sports Fest
BOMA/GLA’s golf tournaments provide an exceptional opportunity to network, build connections, and enjoy friendly competition within the commercial real estate community.
We host two major events each year:
- Spring Golf (Palm Desert) – A premier golf tournament bringing industry professionals together for a day of play and networking.
- Triple Play Sports Fest – A dynamic event featuring Masters Golf, a Golf Clinic, and a Pickleball Tournament, offering multiple ways to participate and connect.
Members and their guests can register to play golf, attend a golf clinic, compete in the pickleball tournament, or join happy hour and dinner. Whether you're looking to refine your game or simply enjoy a great networking experience, these events offer something for everyone.

PAC Fundraising: BOMA at the Bowl
BOMA/GLA’s annual PAC fundraising event, BOMA at the Bowl, supports the efforts of our Political Action Committee (PAC) in advocating for policies that protect and enhance the commercial real estate industry. Held each year at the iconic Hollywood Bowl, this event combines an evening of entertainment, networking, and industry engagement. Attendees enjoy a world-class performance while contributing to the vital advocacy work that ensures a strong and business-friendly environment for commercial real estate in Greater Los Angeles.
Topgolf Fun-Raiser: Driving Change to End Homelessness
BOMA/GLA’s Topgolf Fun-Raiser is an annual event dedicated to supporting the fight against homelessness in partnership with The People Concern. All proceeds from this event go directly to The People Concern’s mission to end homelessness, providing vital services and support to those in need.
This fun and engaging fundraiser brings together industry professionals for a night of friendly competition, networking, and philanthropy. To date, the event has raised nearly $100,000, making a real impact in the effort to provide housing, resources, and stability to the most vulnerable in our communities.
ChrisMix: BOMA/GLA’s Signature Holiday Celebration
ChrisMix is BOMA/GLA’s premier holiday event, bringing members together to celebrate the season while networking in a festive and engaging atmosphere. Hosted in unique venues, this signature gathering offers opportunities to connect with industry peers, whether through exhibit booths, interactive experiences, or lively social settings. While the format may evolve each year, the spirit of community, connection, and celebration remains at the heart of ChrisMix.
